Here is an overview of what to expect during our interview process and a list of what you will need to bring.
Depending on whether you’re seeking temporary or permanent employment the interview will take approx. 30-90 mins.
We would like an electronic copy of your resume. This can be emailed to us prior to your appointment. If you have applied online one will automatically come through
to us. If you have not emailed a copy of your resume, you will need to bring a hard copy. If you don’t own a resume, we can assist with creating one.
You will need 100 points of ID. Click here for a list of documents you can use;
You will need original or certified copies of your certificate, diploma or degree. If you are a Dentist, DH or OHT you will need to bring your registration and insurance documents.
You will need to have at least 2 referees on your reference list along with their contact details. Written references can be used in conjunction with verbal references.
You will be required to undertake some tests. This can be done at the office, or you may choose to do this from home prior to, or after the interview. Visit our test centre for more information about the test you may be required to undertake.
Your online profile
When you join AB Dental for temporary employment, you will have a profile created for you, that reflects your skills and experience, which our clients may view prior to a work assignment.
You will receive a welcome email with your log in details, which allows you to edit your profile as you see fit. There are a number of sections which ask you to record your work history, skills and qualifications. We would also like you to upload a current photograph.
The profile is a basic overview of your work history, skills and qualifications. It does not contain any personal information about you, such as your address, contact details or names of previous employers.
The profile you complete will come out in a different format so not all the information entered by you is available for viewing. Instructions will be emailed to you in addition to your log in details.
Your profile is not available to the public, and only clients where you have been placed for work will have temporary access.
Make sure your profile is completed. If you are missing information, or haven’t filled in any of your profile fields, it will give an inaccurate overview of your professional experience.
